I was born in Germany where I lived until 2000 when I moved to Britain to train and work as a psychotherapist. Prior to this I have been a professional landscape architect based in Hamburg holding the equivalent of a Masters degree from the Technical University Berlin. I studied with the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (NCHP) and now live in Wales, where I am practicing.
I have personally experienced that it can take years before plucking up the courage to seek help from a psychotherapist. It is never too late to begin those changes. It is one of the motivations of my work to help others to make changes more easily and earlier than I did and also to open people up to the beauty that lies in finding purpose again and to follow it through.
I am a registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and am full member of the National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists (NRHP) and the National Society of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (NSHP).
The NRHP & the NCHP are members of the Hypno-Psychotherapy Section of the UKCP, committed to maintaining the highest professional standards. All UKCP registered therapists carry professional indemnity insurance and are strictly regulated with regard to
- terms, conditions and methods of treatment
- post-qualification supervision
- practitioner competence
- continuous professional development
